In a blind-ballot survey, 17 of last night's diners cast their vote on the continuance of the Good Company meal.
* 13 were in favor on continuing the Good Company meal, but as a potluck only. * 03 were in favor of taking a little break from the Good Company meal, considering the lower light levels in winter. * 01 was in a favor of continuing, alternating potlucks with "chefs" and was willing to be a "chef" once in a while, including footing the grocery bill for that week. * 01 person had an additional idea to share: that we take the winter break, but meet briefly afterward for fellowship and a drink.
As the "founding chef" of this meal, I am glad to see that it has become an important part of the fellowship life of this church and has enough momentum to continue. I will post announcements in next weeks' bulletin, change the web page and put the new "meal plan" on the calendar.

On a related note, I will be speaking with my neighbor and family again this weekend to see if their interest is still strong in offering a meal on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day here at CHUM. I will post the "results" of those conversations to the Worship Planning thread having to do with Christmas Eve services.

Please add three more "Pot Luck" votes to your list. Harmon, Coleene and I are in favor of continuing the meal on a pot luck basis. We don't care if our vote is Private
